My name is , from . I scored unsatisfactory and did their desired universities. I think, either in the country on a first-clacolleges, or to go abroad. If on a domestic university, it is a waste of time. So I chose to study abroad.

So I understand that New Zealand students through the Internet has more advantages. First of all, New Zealand is a multicultural country, a time-advanced level. Second, the students lower costs than other countries, more reasonable. Third, the weather and almost southern China. Therefore, I propose to the parents to New Zealand to study the wishes of the parents get the support.

From 06 to 07, I CIBT School of Beijing University of Technology to study for two years, I am learning is that I am interested in businemanagement. Through this two-year study, as in the commercial, I later laid a foundation for learning.

Many schools in New Zealand, I chose the UNITEC Institute. UNITEC is unique in that the traditional university academic standards and polytechnics and technical advantages of combining vocational education. School in combining theory and practice for school concept, exploring the creativity of the students to continue to adapt to social change.

UNITEC particularly to the integration of theory and practical teaching methods, more determined my choice. Reading through UNITEC of Chinese students in the exchange, I understand MARKETING study very hard, I need to put more time and energy on top. Maybe I can not be like the other students on edge as the Edge Reading. But my parents understood my idea, I am willing to fully support the school.

有关人生的英语演讲稿范文 篇2

daily life can be made happier. it is a matter of choice. it is our attitude that makes us feel happy or unhappy. it is true, we meet all kinds of situations during the day, and some of them may not be conductive to happiness. we can choose to keep thinking about the unhappy events, and we can choose to refuse to think about them, and instead, relish the happy moments. all of us constantly go through various situations and circumstances, but we do not have to let them influence our reactions and feelings.

if we let outer events influence our moods, we become their slaves. we lose our freedom. we let our happinebe determined by outer forces. on the other hand, we can free ourselves from outer influences. we can choose to be happy, and we can do a lot to add happineto our lives.

what is happiness? it is a feeling of inner peace and satisfaction. it is usually experienced when there are no worries, fears or obsessing thoughts, and this usually happens, when we do something we love to do or when we get, win, gain or achieve something that we value. it seems to be the outcome of positive events, but it actually comes from the inside, triggered by outer events.

for most people happineseems fleeting, because they let changing outer circumstances affect it. one of the best ways to keep it, is by gaining inner peace through daily meditation. as the mind becomes more peaceful, it becomes easier to choose the happinehabit.

here are a few tips for increasing happinein daily life:

  1) endeavor to change the way you look at things. always look at the bright side. the mind may drag you to think about negativity and difficulties. don't let it. look at the good and positive side of every situation.

  2) think of solutions, not problems.

  3) listen to relaxing, uplifting music.

  4) watch funny comedies that make you laugh.

  5) each day, devote some time to reading a few pages of an inspiring book or article.

  6) watch your thoughts. whenever you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, start thinking of pleasant things.

  7) always look at what you have done and not at what you haven't.

sometimes you may begin the day with the desire to accomplish several objectives. at the end of the day you might feel frustrated and unhappy, because you haven't been able to do all of those things.

look at what you have done, not at what you have not been able to do. you may have accomplished a lot during the day, and yet you let yourself become frustrated, because of some small things that you did not accomplish. you have spent all day successfully carrying out many plans, and instead of feeling happy and satisfied, you look at what was not accomplished and feel unhappy. it is unfair toward yourself.

  8) each day do something good for yourself. it can be something small, such buying a book, eating something you love, watching you favorite program on tv, going to a movie, or just having a stroll on the beach.

  9) each day do at least one act to make others happy. this can be a kind word, helping your colleagues, stopping your car at the crossroad to let people cross, giving your seat in a bus to someone else, or giving a small present to someone you love. the possibilities are infinite. when you make someone happy, you become happy, and then people try to make you happy.

  10) always expect happiness.

  11) do not envy people who are happy. on the contrary, be happy for their happiness.

  12) associate with happy people, and try to learn from them to be happy. remember, happineis contagious.

We all come to the world, but why do some of us make great achievements known forever and why are they remembered forever even though they leave the world? And why do some leave the world without anything valuable to his generation and the people? Every one of us will hope to have a significant and valuable life.

But what kind of life is both significant and valuable? Answers to the questions are If you cherish your value of your own life, you will create something valuable for the world.

  Johann Goth said.

The life value should be judged from his contribution rather than his profession.

  Einstein said.

Lei Feng, a communist soldier, said, one lives to make others a more beautiful life.

As we all know, Marx is an outstanding and great man.

He founded his brilliant and scientific theory of communism.

The theory guides the ways for the human beings liberation.

Marx said, If we can elect one suitable profession, we wont be demoralized with its pressure, because we make sacrifice for human beings.

Only by this way will we not be addicted to the joy of narrow-minded and individualism.

Our happiness belongs to thousands upon thousands of people.

I see, although it may be unknown, our cause will never be forgot forever.

Even when we depart to God, the kind people will tear down upon our ashes.

When he said these words, he was only 17 years old.

He meant his word with his deeds in his late lifetime period.

After his death, on his 100-birthday anniversary, the proletarian and the revolutionary people of the whole world still cherish the memory of Marx and mourn him respectively.

It is his distinguishingable contribution to the mankind that his life is that significant.

It is his great devotion to the human being that his life value is beyond measure.

We also know that Lu Xun is a man of great.

Without his nobility Fierce-browed, I wooly defy a thousand point fingers, head bowed like a willing ox I serve the children, and without his spirit of his loyalty and devotion to the last for the bright future of the Chinese people, his life would not have been so significant and so great.

Actually, didnt those regarded as essence of human who live forever in the hearts of people make great contributions to the cause of the people? Wouldnt the people remember those whose great achievements for human are recorded in history? We know for certain that not every of us will be a second Marx or Lu Xun.

Good evening, Dear judges, ladies and gentlemen, my name is HeYi, I am from class 165, today I am very glad to give my speech here, and my topic is Life.

As we know, life is precious and only one time for every person. So dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

The happiest of people dont necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, youre the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy. Ten thousand years are too long, seize the day, seize the hour!

  Think you for your listening!

There are failures and there are Failures, but the differences between bankruptcy and financial diminishment, divorce and marital strife, spiritual crisis and anomie are distinctions of degree, not kind. And they are connected. Woe in one sphere strains the seams of others. It's not pretty. And that's why failure is something you wouldn't wish on your least agreeable relative.

  Or would you?

A theory is gaining momentum that looks at failure differently. Failure, it says, is at worst a mixed blessing: It hurts, but can pay off in the form of learning and growth and wisdom. Some psychologists, like the University of Virginia's Jonathan Haidt, go even further, arguing that adversity, setbacks, and even trauma may actually be necessary for people to be happy, successful, and fulfilled. "Post-traumatic growth," it's sometimes called. Its observers are building a solid foundation under the anecdotes about wildly successful people who credit their accomplishments to earlier failures that pushed them to the edge of the abyss.

We do know that learning is error-driven—probably as a result of the brain trying to be efficient. Failures grab our attention. So many things happen the way we expect them to that mistakes register disproportionately. We're forced to integrate that new information. Researchers have found that the more wildly wrong our prediction was, the quicker we learn. The brain, you might say, feeds on failure. We are acutely sensitive to negative feedback, and this "negativity bias" drives learning, at least from teenagehood on up.

As the pace of life continues to increase, we are fast losing the art of relaxation.Once you are in the habit of rushing through life, being on the go from morning till night,it is hard to slow down. But relaxation is essential for a healthy mind and body.

Stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. In fact, it is not the bad thing as it is often supposed to be. A certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give purpose to life. It is only when the stress gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and ill health.

The amount of stress a person can withstand depends very much on the individual. Some people are not afraid of stress, and such characters are obviously prime material for managerial responsibilities. Others lose heart at the first signs of unusual difficulties. When exposed to stress, in whatever form, we react both chemically and physically. In fact, we make a choice between "flight or fight"and in more primitive days the choices made the difference between life or death. The crises we meet today are unlikely to be so extreme, but however little the stress, it involves the same response. It is when such a reaction lasts long, through continued exposure to stress, that health becomes endangered. Such serious conditions as high blood pressure and heart diseases have established links with stress. Since we cannot remove stress from our lives (it would be unwise to do so even if we could), we need to find ways to deal with it.

Then he took the apples and threw them away into the dust. He went on and came to a river. The river had become very big; so he could not go over it. He waited for some time; then he said, "I cannot go to the rich man's house today, for I cannot get over the river." He began to go home. He had eaten no food that day. He began to want food.

  Ladies and gentlemen ,

good morning.Today ,my topic is ‘be the best and to be myself’.

Who is the best student in your class Do you think the best student often draws attention from others and are you even jealous of him or her from time to time

  Frankly speaking, I do.

  In my class , my deskmate is considered to be the best.In teachers’ eyes ,he is a clever boy ;

So intelligent is he that he is able to figure out difficult problems in extremely short time. From most classmates’ point of view ,he is an energetic friend. Not only can he play the Jazz drum wonderfully ,but also he is good at so many sports .Furthermore ,he always shows his sense of humour in the communication with others.Definitely ,he is the best.Nevertheless ,I don’t admire him in the least or I don’t agree that I’m supposed to become what he is .Despite the fact that I have ever been green with envy ,I’m conscious that everyone has his own values .No matter how outstanding others are, I should spare no effort to be myself .I used to think of myself as an average student.Although I am capable of playing the trumpet and using computer software practically, seldom do I show my advantages at school .On account of that, it seems that the only impression I have left on my teachers and classmates is that I’m a hardworking ,modest and silent student. What I wonder is how I can show my outgoing and lively side to them.If I make it, I am surely the best of myself.

It goes without saying that we ought not to seek to be like others all the time .I have been looking for my particular value in the society and that should be the best of myself.

That’ all.Thank you for your attention.

  Success is a Feeling

Everyone wants success. But what is success? Generally, people think success is a great deal of money, high position, academic

achievement, and so on. However, most of these people never really define what success means to them. In my opinion, success is a feeling, which makes you happy and content.

Success is a feeling, that means success is not considered as big or small, high or low. It is just a good mood from your heart. Maybe passing a final test is a success for a student, learning to walk is a success for a little child, marrying a beautiful girl is a success for a lad, signing a contract is a success for a company. Success varies from individual to group.

Success is a feeling, that means success is changing since your childhood. While you were a little child, you thought it was a success that your parents finally bought you lovely toys after you begged again and again. Success is the feeling you had when you were told that you won the contest. After graduation, you started working. You were successful when you finished a complicated task very well and you were praised. When married, maybe a happy marriage and a happy family meant success for you. When your child grew up, you hoped he or she attend a famous university or go abroad to study or work, at that time you considered that was your success. When you were old enough and couldn't work at all, success was a feeling that your children and grandchildren came to see you from a long distance. Actually, success always accompanied you in your growth.

However, we have to admit that you can't be successful all the time. We always meet many difficulties on the way to success. The more difficult it is, the much happier we are when we succeed.

To be successful, we should have a clear aim and then try our best to reach it. Wherever you go, whatever you are, your success belongs to yourself. It is a good feeling that you love it very much, and it really can make you laugh from the heart.

It's easiest to see this link between fear and the imagination in young children, whose fears are often extraordinarily vivid.

When I was a child, I lived in California, which is, you know, mostly a very nice place to live, but for me as a child, California could also be a little scary.

I remember how frightening it was to see the chandelier that hung above our dining table swing back and forth during every minor earthquake, and I sometimes couldn't sleep at night, terrified that the Big One might strike while we were sleeping.

And what we say about kids who have fears like that is that they have a vivid imagination. But at a certain point, most of us learn to leave these kinds of visions behind and grow up.

We learn that there are no monsters hiding under the bed, and not every earthquake brings buildings down. But maybe it's no coincidence that some of our most creative minds fail to leave these kinds of fears behind as adults.

  人有了钱就会变坏?社会心理学家Paul Piff通过操纵大富翁游戏做了一个有趣的实验,测试人们感到富有时会如何表现。

I want you to, for a moment, think about playing a game of Monopoly, except in this game, that combination of skill, talent and luck that help earn you success in games, as in life, has been rendered irrelevant, because this game's been rigged, and you've got the upper hand。 You've got more money, more opportunities to move around the board, and more access to resources。 And as you think about that experience, I want you to ask yourself, how might that experience of being a privileged player in a rigged game change the way that you think about yourself and regard that other player?

So we ran a study on the U。C。 Berkeley campus to look at exactly that question。 We brought in more than 100 pairs of strangers into the lab, and with the flip of a coin randomly assigned one of the two to be a rich player in a rigged game。 They got two times as much money。 When they passed Go, they collected twice the salary, and they got to roll both dice instead of one, so they got to move around the board a lot more。 (Laughter) And over the course of 15 minutes, we watched through hidden cameras what happened。 And what I want to do today, for the first time, is show you a little bit of what we saw。 You're going to have to pardon the sound quality, in some cases, because again, these were hidden cameras。 So we've provided subtitles。 Rich Player: How many 500s did you have? Poor Player: Just one。

Rich Player: Are you serious。 Poor Player: Yeah。

Rich Player: I have three。 (Laughs) I don't know why they gave me so much。

Paul Piff: Okay, so it was quickly apparent to players that something was up。 One person clearly has a lot more money than the other person, and yet, as the game unfolded, we saw very notable differences and dramatic differences begin to emerge between the two players。 The rich player started to move around the board louder, literally smacking the board with their piece as he went around。 We were more likely to see signs of dominance and nonverbal signs, displays of power and celebration among the rich players。

We had a bowl of pretzels positioned off to the side。 It's on the bottom right corner there。 That allowed us to watch participants' consummatory behavior。 So we're just tracking how many pretzels participants eat。

Rich Player: Are those pretzels a trick?

  Poor Player: I don't know。

PP: Okay, so no surprises, people are onto us。 They wonder what that bowl of pretzels is doing there in the first place。 One even asks, like you just saw, is that bowl of pretzels there as a trick? And yet, despite that, the power of the situation seems to inevitably dominate, and those rich players start to eat more pretzels。

  Rich Player: I love pretzels。

  (Laughter)

PP: And as the game went on, one of the really interesting and dramatic patterns that we observed begin to emerge was that the rich players actually started to become ruder toward the other person, less and less sensitive to the plight of those poor, poor players, and more and more demonstrative of their material success, more likely to showcase how well they're doing。 Rich Player: I have money for everything。 Poor Player: How much is that? Rich Player: You owe me 24 dollars。 You're going to lose all your money soon。 I'll buy it。 I have so much money。 I have so much money, it takes me forever。 Rich Player 2: I'm going to buy out this whole board。 Rich Player 3: You're going to run out of money soon。 I'm pretty much untouchable at this point。

PP: Okay, and here's what I think was really, really interesting, is that at the end of the 15 minutes, we asked the players to talk about their experience during the game。 And when the rich players talked about why they had inevitably won in this rigged game of Monopoly —— (Laughter) — they talked about what they'd done to buy those different properties and earn their success in the game, and they became far less attuned to all those different features of the situation, including that flip of a coin that had randomly gotten them into that privileged position in the first place。 And that's a really, really incredible insight into how the mind makes sense of advantage。

Now this game of Monopoly can be used as a metaphor for understanding society and its hierarchical structure, wherein some people have a lot of wealth and a lot of status, and a lot of people don't。 They have a lot less wealth and a lot less status and a lot less access to valued resources。 And what my colleagues and I for the last seven years have been doing is studying the effects of these kinds of hierarchies。 What we've been finding across dozens of studies and thousands of participants across this country is that as a person's levels of wealth increase, their feelings of compassion and empathy go down, and their feelings of entitlement, of deservingness, and their ideology of self—interest increases。 In surveys, we found that it's actually wealthier individuals who are more likely to moralize greed being good, and that the pursuit of self—interest is favorable and moral。 Now what I want to do today is talk about some of the implications of this ideology self—interest, talk about why we should care about those implications, and end with what might be done。

  Dear teachers and students:

Good morning / afternoon / evening! My name is Liu zi yuan. The title of myspeech is the relationship between creativity and imagination.

  尊敬的老师、同学们大家早上/下午/晚上好!我叫刘子源。我演讲的题目是创造力和想象力之间的关系。

There is no creativity without imagination. With the development of thesociety, creativity becomes more and more important. People could not satisfywith ordinary life. So we need creativity to meet their requirements. We can seesignificance of the creativity from an example. The smart phone—iphone spreadall over the world. That was the creativity of The Apple Inc. It is obvious thatit will produce a bigger profit than common manufacturing. But, hao can weacquire creativity?

I think the creativity roots in imagination. Albert Einstein said thatimagination is important than knowledge. Because we should creative a thing thatis never appeared, we need to image. Use all the things and information aroundus to think and then go to achieve it. Without the imagination of the Wrightbrothers , human could not complete the flying dreams. Without the imaginationof the Alexander Graham Bell, we could not hear the voice from a distance. Ifthe creativity can make the human progress, imagination will be the road tosuccess. Where the imagination come from? Knowledge ? Experience ? practice? Iconsider that all of them are indispensable. It is often said that knowledge ispower. So we should empower ourselves with knowledge. After that we need toobtain experience form. practice. These are the basis, and we must strengthenthem to extend our imagination.

As contemporary college students, we must shoulder the responsibility ofthe future of our motherland. What we need is not only the knowledge of thepast, but also is the innovation of a new field. Our thought can not be bound bythe old things. We should understand that an excellent nation is always full ofcreativity. So we must promote our imagination. There is no creativity withoutimagination. That’s all, thank you!

i suggest that it must be a great fun to be with children all the day.

and if i am a teacher, i can teach my students a lot of knowledge.

they might become stronger and cleverer because of me.

that is a very contented feeling.

  china is a developing country.
