今天我讲话的主题是：永不放弃。

决赛一开始，韩国的朴升智抢到了头名，李坚柔在最外道非常不利，一开始排在最后，比赛中途，意大利的方塔娜和英国的克里斯蒂发生碰撞，她们两个摔倒还碰倒了韩国的朴升智，朴升智也失去了重心摔倒。李坚柔收获大礼，一骑绝尘滑过终点。这也是中国短道队在该项目上冬奥四连冠。
李坚柔的故事告诉我们：永不放弃！
首先，我们决不放弃是我们的根本：平安和健康。没有平安和健康，所有的一切都是空话。所以我们无论是上学、放学、上下楼梯、出操、课间活动，都要把安全放在第一位的。你骑自行车上学、放学的时候，你一定要记住，你要有安全的保障。在骑车路中，要有对车辆和行人的预见性；你在走廊、楼梯甚至教室打闹的时候，你问自己一句：这样做安全吗？等下我们政教处黎松青主任会对安全和纪律有一个详细的解读和训导，我这里不一一细化。今年我们的目标仍旧是保持学校安全零事故。
其次，我们绝不放弃的是对美好品德的追求。为什么你每天早上要洗脸，因为这是我们对自己相貌清洁度的追求，其实相貌真是其次的，相貌一大半是父母给的，可是你有没有注重自己对美好品德、言行的培养。我今天送给同学们一句话，我们的男生要像绅士、女生要像淑女。过了一个年，我们从生理年龄上长了一岁，但是从心理上，你成熟了吗？你以为男生头发养长一点就是酷，女生佩戴首饰就是漂亮和美丽，可是我们是谢塘镇中的学生呀！学生就要有学生的样，学校是求德、求智的神圣殿堂，不是我们那种不洋不腔的打扮，你还没有到打扮的年龄和职业阶段。所以今天我们都穿了过年的新衣来学校，或许有些还沉醉于寒假正月里的娱乐，有的还甚至带了手机，带了一些不该带的东西，说了一些不该说的话。到后天，下周一，学校首先会对全校396位同学做一个仪容仪表的彻底检查，我们不要求你打扮得非常华丽、妖艳，我们只要你干净、整洁。以后天气渐渐热起来的时候，我们还要提倡天天穿校服。你是来读书的，不是来打扮的，你只要干净、整洁，这是最美、最帅的谢中人。在言行举止上，你还是要一如既往的尊敬你的师长，不要忘了，见到老师，请说一声老师好！做操、就餐的时候，请各班把队伍排得整齐些，再整齐些。我真心的希望我们的同学懂事一些，正直一些，善良一些，学会尊重、懂得感恩、热爱生命，只要这样你们才会有更多以诚相待的朋友，才能赢得他人的尊重。我希望我们的同学饭后闲逛的少一些，在厕所门口做保卫的男生不要再这样了。我希望那种从家长、亲戚那里带来的粗话、野话消失一些，粗话、野话那会比丑陋更丑陋。美好品德体现在我们的细节上，体现在我们日常的点点滴滴，比如课堂上的习惯、课间、午间、自习课和在家的点点滴滴。
