thanksgiving day is a time each year, dating back to our founding, when we lay aside the troubles and disagreements of the day and bow our heads in humble recognition of the providence bestowed upon our nation. amidst the uncertainty of a fledgling experiment in democracy, president george washington declared the first thanksgiving in america, recounting the blessings of tranquility, union, and plenty that shined upon our young country. in the dark days of the civil war when the fate of our union was in doubt, president abraham lincoln proclaimed a thanksgiving day, calling for "the almighty hand" to heal and restore our nation.

This Thanksgiving Day, we reflect on the compassion and contributions of Native Americans, whose skill in agriculture helped the early colonists survive, and whose rich culture continues to add to our Nation's heritage. We also pause our normal pursuits on this day and join in a spirit of fellowship and gratitude for the year's bounties and blessings.
Thanksgiving Day is a time each year, dating back to our founding, when we lay aside the troubles and disagreements of the day and bow our heads in humble recognition of the providence bestowed upon our Nation. Amidst the uncertainty of a fledgling experiment in democracy, President George Washington declared the first Thanksgiving in America, recounting the blessings of tranquility, union, and plenty that shined upon our young country. In the dark days of the Civil War when the fate of our Union was in doubt, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a Thanksgiving Day, calling for "the Almighty hand" to heal and restore our Nation.
In confronting the challenges of our day, we must draw strength from the resolve of previous generations who faced their own struggles and take comfort in knowing a brighter day has always dawned on our great land. As we stand at the close of one year and look to the promise of the next, we lift up our hearts in gratitude to God for our many blessings, for one another, and for our Nation. This Thanksgiving Day, we remember that the freedoms and security we enjoy as Americans are protected by the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. These patriots are willing to lay down their lives in our defense, and they and their families deserve our profound gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
This harvest season, we are also reminded of those experiencing the pangs of hunger or the hardship of economic insecurity. Let us return the kindness and generosity we have seen throughout the year by helping our fellow citizens weather the storms of our day.

回顾过去，我们激情满怀。做为一名幼儿教育工作者，我们认真地审视自己，时刻提醒鞭策自己，怎样才能让孩子得到更好的发展；怎样才能对的起信任我们的家长；怎样才能对的起给了我们大力支持的各位领导和家长。工作中，我们不断提高自己的思想觉悟和文化修养，以良好的品质教育影响幼儿，引导幼儿，努力更新知识，刻苦钻研业务，在全面实施素质教育的实践中，取得了优异的成绩。
展望未来，我们任重道远。教育是兴国之本，教育要从娃娃抓起，在以后的工作中，我们一定要把知识留给孩子，把微笑带给孩子，让欢乐陪伴孩子，为幼儿创造一个和谐的教育生活环境，把我们的幼教工作不断推向新的台阶，为幼儿的茁壮成长贡献出全部力量。

感恩是乐观。感谢困难，感谢挫折，不是乐观么?感谢对手，感谢敌人，不是乐观么?对于我们不甚喜欢的一些人和事物，尽量想到它的正面，想到它对我们的利处，从而去感谢它，不是乐观么?所以，感恩，是一种乐观的心态。
感恩是礼貌。有人帮助了我们，我们随口说声“谢谢”，可能会给对方心里带来一股暖流。有人为我们付出了许多，我们感谢他，他可能会更加多的帮我们。怀着感恩的心，是有礼貌，是知恩图报。所以，感恩，是一种有礼貌的品质。
有人说，忘记感恩是人的天性。当我们偶然来到这个世界上，什么都还没来得及做的时候，我们就已经开始享受前人带给我们物质和精神上的一切成果了。这就提醒着我们每一个人，要怀有一颗感恩的心。
常怀感恩之心，我们便会更加感激和怀想那些有恩于我们却不言回报的每一个人。正是因为他们的存在，我们才有了今天的幸福和喜悦。常怀感恩之心，便会以给予别人更多的帮助和鼓励为的快乐，便能对落难或者绝处求生的人们爱心融融地伸出援助之手，而且不求回报。常怀感恩之心，对别人对环境就会少一分挑剔，而多一分欣赏。

亲爱的老师、同学们：
大家好!
感恩是一种美德。“滴水之恩，涌泉相报。”这就要求我们从小学会感恩。
在这个世界上，有太多的人需要我们感恩。有人说，在你饥饿时给你一个馒头的人需要感恩;有人说，在你寒冷时，给你一件衣服的人需要感恩……要我说，这个世界上最需要感恩的就是生我养我的母亲。
因为我有一个和我一样大的双胞胎妹妹，所以我的母亲要比别的母亲付出更多的艰辛。小时候，我和妹妹常常一起哭，因为一个玩具争得面红耳赤。可母亲从不打骂我们，而是给我们更多的关爱，所以为了照顾我们她自己时常顾不得吃饭。现在我们都上六年级了，在母亲的关爱下，我和妹妹学习成绩每门都很优秀。每当我们考试得好成绩或我们的作文在报刊上发表时，妈妈和我们一起分享快乐，有时比我们还高兴。我的母亲很辛苦，她既要上班，还要照顾我和妹妹，我非常感谢我的母亲。
“慈母手中线，游子身上衣。临行密密缝，意恐迟迟归。谁言寸草心，报得三春晖。”这是孟郊用自己的真情实感表达对母爱的感激，来赞美这伟大的母爱。世界上唯一施恩于我们而不求回报的就是母亲!她给予我们无穷无尽的爱。然而，母亲的爱是用语言无法表达的。母爱，一份执着的爱，一份真诚的爱，一份持久的爱!母爱萦绕身心，从出生的那一刻便撒下爱的种子，它擎领我们一生，却不求回报。
我们每天都在母亲的关爱下长大，时时沐浴着母爱的温暖。早晨，厨房里那忙碌的身影，那是为将要早起的我们准备早餐的母亲。上学前的一句“路上小心”化作寒冬的烈火，温暖身心。这温馨的母爱，她表露在母亲的一言一行中，一句亲切地问候，一声温暖的关怀，一些苦口婆心的唠叨，甚至是严厉的责备，都饱含着妈妈无私的爱。
感恩母亲，从我做起从现在开始，给妈妈倒一杯茶，送一朵花，一句节日的祝福，晚上给劳累的妈妈洗洗脚……虽然这些比起母亲的爱只是微不足道的小事，但是对于母亲来说，这些就够了。因为母亲说她只是希望我们健康快乐地成长，成为祖国的栋梁之材!
母亲的包容，母亲的爱让我感到无比的幸福。我马上就要成为一名中学生了，我一定发奋学习，以优异的学习成绩报答母亲。
感恩母亲。让我们从一点一滴做起，来回报哺育我们、疼爱我们、为我们无私奉献的母亲吧。
