一走近展览大厅，我就被兵马俑的气势，这个世界最大的地下军事博物馆吸引住了。与人等高的陶武士俑，面部神态、服式、发型都各不相同。个个栩栩如生，形态逼真，它们排成三列横队，每列数十人，其中除3个领队身着销甲外，其余均穿短褐，腿扎裹腿，线履系带，免盔束发，挽弓挎箭，手执弩机，似待命出发的前锋部队。妈妈不禁对我说了一句：“真是‘前无古人，后少来者’啊!”
看着阵容整齐，威风凛凛的兵马俑，我很好奇地问：“这些兵马俑到底是怎么来的啊?!”刚巧身旁传来导游小姐的讲解声：“真正意义上第一个统一中华大地的统治者秦始皇，他为了能建造一个无人能敌的陵墓，足足花了38年的时间来修筑兵马俑，工程之浩大、气魄之宏伟，创历代封建统治者奢侈厚葬之先例。……”

现在呈现在大家眼前的是一号俑坑地，是现发现面积最大的俑坑地。长230米，宽62米，总面积为14260平方米，坑里的兵马俑排列整齐，显然是个巨大的长方形军阵，更是当年南征北战为秦始皇立下赫赫战功的一支精兵队伍。
秦始皇从13岁登基时便开始打造皇陵，直到他死时皇陵依然未完工。这座皇陵修建了38年，利用了72万人力，占地面积约为二十五万平方米。这座皇陵包括了忠诚的守卫——兵马俑，他们占地2万亩，兵马俑气势磅礴，威武雄奇，显现出一种巨大的力量。
现在人们公认兵马俑有三大特点：多，现已挖掘出的兵马俑分三个俑坑，约有八千多个武士俑，六百多个战马俑，充分展示了秦朝统一六国的强大兵力；精，大到布局排阵，小到肌肤纹理无不蕴含着巧妙的构思；美，秦俑阵有令人震撼的美感，壮观无比。
